What We Love About Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a skincare treatment that involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which causes the top layer of skin to peel off, revealing smoother, healthier skin underneath. 3. Age spots and hyperpigmentation
  4. Acne and acne scars

Chemical Peel 101

Everything You Need To Know

Who is a chemical peel best for?

Chemical peels are best suited for individuals who are looking to improve the appearance of the following skin concerns:

  1. Fine lines and wrinkles
  2. Sun damage
  3. Age spots and hyperpigmentation
  4. Acne and acne scars
  5. Dull or uneven skin tone and texture
  6. Rough, dry, or scaly skin
  7. Large pores

How long does it take to see results, and how long do they last?

The results of a chemical peel can vary depending on the type and strength of the peel, as well as the individual's skin type and the specific skin concerns being addressed. In general, patients can expect to see visible results within a few days to a week after the treatment.

After a chemical peel, the skin may appear red, sensitive, and flaky as it heals and regenerates. Over the next few days, the old, damaged skin will gradually peel away, revealing smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin underneath. The skin may continue to improve in appearance for several weeks after the treatment as the skin continues to regenerate and heal.
